Tall, dark and handsome
With eyes shining bright
His smile, as far as I’m concerned,
Could light up the night.
It’s not that often that you find
The perfect one for you.
What’s makes it even better
Is that he feels the same way too.
I know that when he looks at me
I’m the only one he sees.
If ever I have the slightest doubt
He puts my mind at ease.
There was just that special something
Right from the very start,
That secured this man a permanent place
In the center of my heart.
He loves me. This I know is true.
Quite often he tells me so.
Now as we take our wedding vows
The whole wide world will know.
Others will cheer. They’ll celebrate
As we’re pronounced man and wife.
I only know that on that day
I marry the love of my life.
