A Mindful Prayer
Father, I come to you in the name of Jesus and I ask you to forgive me of the sinful my thoughts and ways of thinking that are not according to your word. I praise you for what you have done for me.I thank you for what you are going to do. Father my mind is a battleground,but I choose this day to submit my mind and thoughts unto you.I will cast down those imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against your knowledge.I will bring into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.Your thoughts are not my thoughts nor are your ways my ways for they are higher than mine.I shall lean not unto mine own understanding but in all my ways I will acknowledge you and you shall direct my paths. You have not given me a spirit of fear but of power, love and a sound mind.Father you have given me the mind of Christ and you will keep me in perfect peace if my mind stays on thee.The peace that you give Father shall keep my heart and mind. There will be no mind binding spirits to hinder my mind or my thoughts because no weapon formed against me shall prosper.My mind will not be conformed to this world but transformed by the renewing of my mind with your word and sanctify me with thy truth which is thy word. Father,I have spoken your word and it shall not return void but it shall accomplish the purpose for which it was intended:Jesus, your son,is the word and he has set me free and if be free in him then I am free indeed.Father I stand on your word as I have spoken it in faith.
