I was on one side of two outcrops of land separated by a strait of water. A storm was brewing and I needed to get to the other side. The two main characters from the movie "What About Bob" were treading water in the middle of the strait. From my vantage point they were actually a ways to the right of a straight line if you were to draw one between the two closests points of land. Those two men were in deep water and were talking back and forth.
I has someone with me, a someone who was smaller than I am. I has no option but to get into the water and start swimming with that person holding onto my shoulders. I had barely started to stroke when the person on my back started swim kicking so fast that I was simply going along for a ride. I was experiencing the fastest movement through water that I could bear. The waves were so high that at different points of the crossing that I was not always able to see the land on the other side of the strait. My partner and I just kept barreling though the water in a perfectly straight line powered by amazing swimming power.
We did not actually get to the other side in my dream but there was no doubt that our arrival was imminent. And I had thought that I was the one helping my partner! DOH!
