You are walking upon the shore of the Sea of Galilee. The sun has set half an hour ago, and the moonlight glows on the water. A gentle breeze, warm and inviting, is softly blowing your silky hair about your face. The waves lap the shore, creating a small whisper of sound in the surrounding night air. Your lovely white dress, its skirts being tossed about your legs, reflects the glory of the silence in this still moment.
You walk lightly along the sand, with a spring to your step, and a soft smile playing on your lips. For you are waiting in great anticipation, for Someone very Special to you…
Then, from behind you, that Someone calls your name. His voice sounds like music in your ears. You know it’s Him – Him whom you’ve been waiting for. You turn around to face Him. You laugh in delight and with outstretched arms, you run into His open arms. His arms wrap around you in such love as only you and Him know together.

Such as I have tried to help you imagine, that’s how my time of soaking went with me and my Lord, on that blessed day of January 22. 2006. Here is my account just as it happened, in present tense as I wrote it as it happened.

We walk along the shore, and my hand slips into His. He looks down into my eyes. His eyes sparkle and a delighted smile lights up His face. “I love you, my Sweet,” says He. A tender silence follows. I look up into His face and I smile as I whisper, “I am ever thrilled to accept Your love, my holy Dear One; however, I will never quite understand fully why You, my Creator and King, should take such pleasure in pursuing me, a common young woman of this earth.”
And my Dear One then speaks, “Beloved, I have always been your Pursuer. You are my chosen one. It is you I have chosen to be my Bride. You, my Fair Lady, are my heart’s desire. It is surely not for cheap reason that I have betrothed you to Me. You are beautiful, my Sweet. Your loveliness captivates My heart. You are the Beauty I will always fight for.”
His lips lightly brush across my soft cheek, and come to linger on my own lips. The holy moment of intimacy is interrupted only by the breaking of dawn, as the sun comes forth in the sky. “Farewell, my Love. I will come here for you again tomorrow.”
I blow Him a kiss and watch Him disappear. My heart is renewed again, knowing my Lover is ever with me, in my heart and all around me. Though I cannot see Him at all times, I know He is there and will never leave or forsake me. I am loved.
