Loneliness Together

Under the blackened sky
Peppered with pinpoints of light
This is where
I suffer the awe of God's creation
Here is where
My heart bleeds with self-loathing
In sight of splendor
I see the vast insignificance of me
In sight of God's great beauty
I yearn for eternity

I really love your choice of words, particularly the first two lines -- very original and creative. A little, yet poigant poem. Great job!
