As a child of God, I receive and give love. God’s spirit within me renews a feeling of love to share with others the love He bestows on me. The love of God is universal and is experienced by all who let Him dwell within them. No boundaries in time or space limit this love. It is there for all regardless of colour race or creed. Touching the hem of His garment in faith elicits a response. A spiritual connection is established and our love flows forth. We love Him because He first loved us. (1 John 4:19).
O Love that will not let me go
I rest my weary soul in thee.
(George Mathesen)
Healing: The love of God heals me. I remain in a state of receptivity for His healing power to keep me strengthened and revitalized. I wait for the Lord to renew my strength. I shall run and not be weary. I shall walk and not faint. Jesus, through His great capacity for love, healed the lame, the sick, the social outcast, and the demon-possessed. I keep my thoughts positive, because God wants us to believe in His goodness and mercy. The psalmist says “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” (Ps. 23:6)
Isaiah 40:31 “they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.”
