Hold on my sisters and brothers
for our father's love he will not deny
So banish all your fears, for he is near
to wipe each tear filled eyes
He never went on a vacation-
But once in awhile he did delay his time
But, he has never left us all alone
because his job he won't resign
For whatever he started he will finish
so lets take the limits off him;
He's still in the business of restoring things

and on it we can always trust
God is a defender of the righeous
a very present help, in the times of war
It can be the natural or spiritual battles
either one he won't be far
He will be right there to comfort
our fretful hearts in every way;
That is why no rain, can ever downpour
on us, on whatever the day
So O' hearts rejoice and be very glad
that we have him on our side;
And though, there be storms in our lives
his peace he will provide
