Without seeking you my Lord, whom I adore. How did I chance to exist for so many days? With my heart turned from you, not offering praise. A lost wandering lamb I was and full of shame, no one but me to carry such blame. I know that you Lord, answered my call protecting me now so I don’t fall. You’d carefully written your Laws on my heart so I would know right and wrong from the start. Please mold me as your helper upon this land. Prepare me to lend others an encouraging hand.
