a thousand heart beats,

a thousand reasons to leave

a thousand ways to say sorry but one way to get through it

a thousand ways to end myself,

a thousand shots in the night...

thousands of reasons to stop... "how could it be that am here?"

upside down looking down on me... me a thousand miles from you

a thousand pointless inhales...

a thousand familier words

is this it? Just noise on paper? Is this all that i am today?

"how could I be here?" how could it be.... that am a thousand steps torn within myself

"lay dead... lay dead... lay dead my love... never more here & never more hurting"

If you died today, are you absolutely certain that you would go to heaven? You can be! TRUST JESUS NOW

yes, there is a desperation in numbers. I'm glad you don't stop at a glib invocation of the Lord's name. something about the irony of being so desperate and yet having hope that someone would say something would be enough.

Now that I look at it a second time... it is disturbing that you put the words of the Devil there unmarked ("lay dead my love")
