On this, your wedding day, I do proclaim
A blessing of God, in Jesus’ name.
May He bless you from morning to night every day,
And from night to morning in the very same way.
May He fill your home with His everlasting love,
And your hearts to overflowing with love from above.
May He prosper you in all that you do,
And hold you always within His view.
May He always keep you strong and bold,
Yet hearts soft and meek, easy to mold.
May He bless you with mercy, new each day,
May you walk in His compassion all along the way.
May the Lord bless you like the stream-watered tree,
And may you bring forth fruit and set others free.
May the Lord give you abundant joy and peace,
Faith from above, may His blessings never cease.
May the Lord give you His wisdom in all things,
And His mighty power, as you abide under His wings.
May He give you a hunger for His righteousness and Word,
And may every petition always be heard.
May He bless the good work that He’s begun,
Bringing it to completion ‘til the return of His Son.
May He give you joy in praying to Him,
And your vision to press on, may it never grow dim.
May He bless you with a calling and election sure,
Never falling, and remaining in His sight, pure.
May you be an encouragement and blessing to others,
And be tender and comforting to one another.
May the Lord make His face to shine upon you,
May He keep you in all He directs you to do.
May He keep you blameless, walking according to HIs law,
As you grow in His statutes and become strong and tall.
May you praise Him always with an upright heart,
And from His Word, May you never depart.
We praise You, O Lord, For Your goodness this day,
In Jesus’ name we ask for blessings and grace
Please smile on these two as they become one,
And begin a new life together, with Your Son.
