Angels have names...
Like Mary Alice, Donna, Helen, Cyndy,
Cheryl, Roselee, Sherry, and Wanda,
And-
Mike, Tim, Irvin, Danny, Steve, Bob,
Jeanette, Teresa, Olushula and Veronica.
Yet we are not always aware.
They appear without wings,
To us on earth from out of nowhere.
A baby is born, we hear them rejoice,
With a card, a letter, or beside us in voice.
Someone is sick, or a burning house fire,
Could be the nurse, a fireman,
Or the one that helps us changing a tire.
A loved one dies, they comfort sincere,
With love, compassion, and faith,
They pass by sharing hearts so dear.
One thing these angels have in common, tis true.
Jesus lives and shines, in each one of them too.
These are God's ministering angels,
That have each name written down.
In the Lamb's book of life,
Settled in heaven they are forever found.
Angels have names..
If you don't see your name in the above list, it is because if I wrote a list of all the wonderful folks that I felt were God's angels that had passed by me throughout my life, I wouldn't have enough space for the entire list. Praise the Lord that our names are written there!
