A New Year again o Father -the Most High God.
I choose to begin with You my Lord.
You are the All-knowing, All-powerful, Ever-present Lord.
The Rock higher than I, my God.
I thank You for being my Father
I thank You for being so true and always there.
I thank You for bringing me thus far.
I thank You for this New Beginning.
With you in me ,with me and for me and I in You
I can rest assured of Goodness and Mercy
Always following me throughout the year.
I praise You for Your marvellous grace,
which through Jesus came to the human race.
Grace unlimited, that grants me room to behold Your face.
I trust in You o Lord to carry me through this race.
For my past failures and sins,
Lord, I am sorry make me clean.
Forgive me Lord, on You I lean
For the divine enablement, this year to win.
May I learn from my past mistakes
And the unhelpful past forget and forsake.
May I not rest on my past glories for Your name's sake;
But press forward for greater heights for Your glory's sake.
Through the Spirit's power, may I like an eagle soar.
Be it on the mountain or through the valley tower,
To your glory and praise my High Tower.
I cast all my disappointments on You.
I cast all my cares on You.
I thrust all the future anxieties on You.
Help me to take one day at a time;
To know that You would make all things beautiful in Your time.
O that I would know that so long as I am in the Vine,
You 'l bring me through; and in the end I'll be fine.
I look forward for a brighter Year O Most Holy
I look forward for progress through thick and thin;
As You take me from glory to glory.
I yield my all to You and count on the finished work on Calvary ,
to radiate this Year Your excellence, majesty and glory this year?
Help me Lord, to stand in the face of trials, temptations and adversities.
Help me to fulfil my part this Year in Your Body; in spite of Principalities.
Help me overcome my flesh-life and all carnalities,
And live the Christ- life this Year, in all it's glory.
Above all, that I may know you and love you more. Take me into greater depths and higher heights in you until Christ is formed in me.
