The holiday is over, the festivities are all done, and the time with family has just flown, but for all the travels and get-togethers, there is just nothing quite like coming home.
I loved seeing the grandkids, amazed at how they've grown, how could they suddenly be as tall as me? And to have all three of my sons there together, was as joyful a Christmas present as there could be.
The hours sped by, the collection of memories grew and grew, and yet the very best one of al was coming home, holding hands with you.
I think about the love that God had for us, knowing what lay ahead, He still sent His Son, a Christmas gift that defines the word 'love', for He came to save us, each and every one.
And once we ask Him to rule in our hearts and lives, that just begins the life of dreams coming true.
It was such a joy, that day not so long ago, when Jesus came to rule in my heart, and I began this journey with Him; He had changed me and gave me a brand new start.
The wonder of it was that this was just the beginning, and one by one small and large dreams came true, but the very best one of all, the one closest to my heart was fulfilled when He gave me you.
I thank God every day for the special joy of knowing I'll never be alone, for at the end of the day, with my hand clasped in yours, my heart truly knows it is home.
