Does Your Child's School Pass God’s Test?

There are only two things that God commanded us to do, making them the most important thing for us to know how to do. Actually, they are the only things we need to know how to do.

First is to Love God above all things and with your whole being
Second is to Love each other as you Love yourself

Does your child’s school teach these two things?

There is one book that God has put above all others and is regarded by most people throughout all of history as the most significant piece of literature ever written. Take away the Bible and you will still find the complete writings of the Bible in the collections of literature that you find in the greatest libraries.

This is God’s textbook and is recognized as the greatest book ever written. Is this your child’s primary textbook in school and one in which most of their other textbooks are in agreement with? ( I say most, because it is still beneficial for your child to know what other cultures believe in, especially when they go out into the world and try to minister to non- believers). Is this great piece of literature even a required reading in your child’s school? Does your child’s school give your child time to memorize and contemplate God’s Word, so that it is with them wherever they go and whenever they speak or witness to others?

Did you know that in some Jewish communities throughout history, they have had their children memorize the first five books of the Bible by the age of 10? Nothing is impossible with God.

God has told us that there is no other teacher other than Christ. Is Christ teaching your child in the school that they attend?

Your child’s teacher should be one that has the Holy Spirit, knows everything about your child and will gear your child’s education to their specific God given abilities and gifts. Does your child’s teacher fit this description?

Does your child’s school teach them to be a child of this world or a child of God?

Where does your child spend most of their time learning....... in a place that teaches about God and learning to live in His world or a place that teaches how to get by without God and to be successful in this world?

We are told to teach our children the fear of the Lord. Does your child’s teacher do this?

God takes away all of our excuses, not to meet these educational expectations for our children. Whatever we ask in His Holy Name and for the glory of God, He will provide, just for the asking.

And if you have not received, it is because you have not asked. And if you have not received after you have asked, it is because you do not believe.

Matthew 23:8 But you, do not be called ‘Rabbi’; for One is your Teacher, the Christ, and you are all brethren. 9 Do not call anyone on earth your father; for One is your Father, He who is in heaven. 10 And do not be called teachers; for One is your Teacher, the Christ. 11 But he who is greatest among you shall be your servant. 12 And whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.

Colossians 1:24 I now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up in my flesh what is lacking in the afflictions of Christ, for the sake of His body, which is the church, 25 of which I became a minister according to the stewardship from God which was given to me for you, to fulfill the word of God, 26 the mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but now has been revealed to His saints. 27 To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. 28 Him we preach, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus. 29 To this end I also labor, striving according to His working which works in me mightily.

Matthew 6:31 “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

John 14:12 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. 13 And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.

Colossians 3:12 Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; 13 bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. 14 But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. 15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. 16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. 17 And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him...............................................................
22 Bondservants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh, not with eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but in sincerity of heart, fearing God. 23 And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, 24 knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.

1 Timothy 4:12 Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity. 13 Till I come, give attention to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine. 14 Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you by prophecy with the laying on of the hands of the eldership. 15 Meditate on these things; give yourself entirely to them, that your progress may be evident to all. 16 Take heed to yourself and to the doctrine. Continue in them, for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you.

1 Thessalonians 5:12 And we urge you, brethren, to recognize those who labor among you, and are over you in the Lord and admonish you, 13 and to esteem them very highly in love for their work’s sake. Be at peace among yourselves. 14 Now we exhort you, brethren, warn those who are unruly, comfort the fainthearted, uphold the weak, be patient with all. 15 See that no one renders evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue what is good both for yourselves and for all. 16 Rejoice always, 17 pray without ceasing, 18 in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. 19 Do not quench the Spirit. 20 Do not despise prophecies. 21 Test all things; hold fast what is good. 22 Abstain from every form of evil.23 Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24 He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.25 Brethren, pray for us. 26 Greet all the brethren with a holy kiss. 27 I charge you by the Lord that this epistle be read to all the holy brethren. 28 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.
