During the portion of the church service in which our pastor leads prayer for local and global needs, I received an impression in my mind that took the form of a picture that kept changing. The impression did not last long, maybe a few seconds, but was clear and strong.
As our pastor prayed for light to come to all nations, but especially nations where Islam was dominant, I 'saw' the earth as if from outer space. As I 'watched', what looked like a confused jumble of black cords spread across the globe's surface. The cords were not orderly, but like a squirming mass of worms, seemed to push themselves into empty areas to free themselves from the main mass. There they would be entangled again in confusion with other cords that had done the same.
I felt in my heart that the earth would soon be completely covered with these cords.
But as I continued to 'see' in my mind, some areas were toally clear of black cords. I could not tell what parts of the globe these were located. Black cords would attempt to enter these clear areas and be, as it seemed, snipped off and cast out as if by invisible scissors. This did not keep the cords from attempting time and again to cover these areas, but each time the cords were stopped in their attempts by something.
As I wondered about the invisible force, the confused mass of cords, and the clear areas of the world, I received in my spirit an explanation.
The cords are the forces of the wicked one who desires that the earth be completely subdued to him. They are confused because he is the author of confusion and deceit.
Some areas have succumbed. Some areas are being assaulted and remain clear from his dominion.
Why did they remain clear? The invisible force that was enforcing the borders was the answer by God to the earnest and diligent prayers of the saints. He was repulsing every attack by cutting the black tendrils whenever they entered the area.
This was a warning to the watchmen on the wall, to everyone who longs for the return of the Lord. If we slumber, if we become distracted, if we don't communicate with our Lord who gives us the battle plan to carry out, the evil cords will strangle this globe with confusion.
Please, you who read this, be diligent and fervent in prayer. This is but for a season, and then He will return. Praise the Almighty who is faithful, just, and merciful! Amen!

Sandra, We are part of the circle that's untangled and so it is for us to keep the prayer wheel turning so that others can be untangled and join in with us. We have to remain focused, lest we become tangled ourselves because we live in end times and the deciever is about. The confusion will only be for a time if we remain true to the living GOD. How true and so few recognize it; even in our own circles. Time is so short and I suppose that Jesus could say once again "Could you not tarry one hour?" How sad our reply would be thanks for the reminder.
