As the holidays approach us, most of the news media is concerned with "Merry Christmas," because many of the politicians and the those who are popular in the world feels as though, we find offend some. So many big business are suggesting using the word, "Happy Holidays."
We are forgetting the reasons that Jesus was born. And how he came into the earth to save sinners and reconcile them to God. Many are training the next generations to not believe in God, and prove he doesn't exist. Many believe they can replace him with gifts and money, and cute little movies about family. What is the pupose of this, if we forget the one who started the family? Whose blessings are needed for the next generations?
As Christians, we have dropped the ball about teaching the truth of Salvation, and we have caved to the doctrines and teachings of the world, as a matter of fact, we are doing more to help the cause of politicians than to destroy the demonic strongholds which binds.
The truth is, the name of God will not be forgotten. The power of God cannot be demonish. He is Creator of all things, and he will have dominance in all things.
As the events are being set in motion for the return of Christ. Christians will find their lives on trial. They will find out that laws which applied to protect others will be the very thing which put them in jeopardy. The laws will not protect the rights of Christians, especially when politicians and others will find a way for the Bible to be classified as hate mail. Tolerance Laws will be put in affect to discredit and in some cases, fine and place Christians behind bars. We have never lived through persecution. We heard about it, but never experience it. It is now at our feet because we have taken God for granted.
I am asking you to pray for your nation. This nation has rebelled against God. They have tried to wipe him from the face of society by making a way for demonic forces.
God is the center of the church, and he will gain total victory. If we don't pray, we are failing as our obligation as Christians.

Gwendolyn, I see it has been a while since you submitted an article (with the execption of this one, of course). It is very obvious you are passionate in your faith. Just to put your mind at ease - many feel exactly as you do. We are just so busy taking care of our families, praising God, and living our lives, that we just don't have the time to go out and protest the way the anti-God crowd does. We may seem like the minority in this nation, but we are not. I enjoyed your column. I noticed one small mistake "The power of God cannot be demonish" ...I assume you meant diminished?
Write more often. Faithwriters is an awesome place to hang out and work on our craft. May God bless. Sincerely, Dan Blaneknship
