The book of Luke

We are all familiar with the account of our dear

Savior's birth found in the Book Of Luke.

So many years ago a miraculous thing happened.

Our Savior made his entrance into this world in

the form of human flesh,He was fully man and yet

at the same time, he was fully God.

Our human minds can not possibly comprehend what

all took place in the heavenlies during this

time. We can only imagine it as far as minds will

allow us. Why would Jesus choose to leave his

heavenly home and his place beside the Father to

be born as a baby in a filthy manager? John 3: 16

explains it quite clearly.

The time of Jesus's birth, no man really knows

the exact day or month. Nevertheless we have a

day set apart every year to celebrate his birth .

We have something to celebrate don't we? After

all God sent us the ultimate Christmas gift. His

precious son , the perfect passover lamb. This is

exactly what the human race needed and still

needs today.

Jesus being the perfect passover lamb, gave

himself up freely for the lost and dying world.

This is a free gift that is offered to all. Isn't

that wonderful to know? Jesus can be shared with

all persons, not just one. It doesn't cost us

anything, it is free, just accept the gift.

So, this Christmas , when you hand your loved

ones a gift from you or when you receive a gift

from them, take a moment and close your eyes.

Try to picture in your mind Jesus handing himself

to you. This is exactly what he did.

I really enjoyed this article. So many people like to say that Christmas is "pagan" yet forget the fact that nothing is wrong with celebrating the birth of Jesus as the angels and others did. Great job!
