James 4:14

Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. (James 4:14)

We never have time enough for all our plans. If I just had more time, we think; or if people would just stop getting in the way; then I could get everything done. Such thinking misses the point of life. Our life vanishes before us, because it is not our own. Why then should we fill it with our plans? When we are willing to fill our time doing God’s will, then our life takes shape. Just as God took a world without form and turned it into something good; so can He with our life.
