Now the wheels of grace are turning
moving, over here and there;
Going all through each and every situation
to fix the whole affair
Grace says to us get out of the way
and let it handle that thing ;
So lets just park our minds, on the side
and I'd show what it can bring
Lets silence our horns and blow them no more
and just let grace have the say;
For it does know, the ends and outs
and surly do know the way
It even knows what it's all about
and is able to bring us through
So let us just stay beneath it's cover
and I'd know what to do
Don't even tempt to drive that model
for it's parts are over our heads- (problems
So let you and I get from under the wheel
and leave it to grace instead
Let our gears lock, which are our thoughts
and put the breaks on the heart;
And keep our spirits warm with some joy
and then grace will do it's part
Whatever needs to be fixed I'd mend it-
what was broken, O' grace can heal;
So what, if it fell apart, I'd sew it back
for with God it's no big deal
God's amazing grace it is so profound
it can reach where we can't go;
O' what a treat, our God does entreat
when we don't always know
Grace will show up when least expected
it's never late, but right on time;
It can step right in when we're at our ends
and take the pressure off the mind
Grace stepped out and rolled back the clouds
told the winds of troubles to let us go
So it was no need to worry, it did not tarry
not once will it ever be slow
O' grace it does see every silent tear
and says I have kept them for thee;
So put on your rest cruise and ride it through
for it had came to set us free
