Families decorating Christmas trees.
The stockings are hung,
The lights have been strung,
And Christmas carols are being sung.
But we forgot what Christmas means.
We forgot the manger scene.
Angels brought good tidings to the earth.
This December let's remember Jesus' birth.
Couples kissing under mistletoe.
Outside kids are playing in the snow.
There's pictures to take,
Christmas cards to make,
And cookies that we need to bake.
Santa Clause, sleigh rides, and snowmen
Versus a Baby born in Bethlehem.
