There are things in life that I won't drink
for they are not my cup of tea ;
For they are full of dregs that always float
and should be cast in the sea
Those negative spoon drops that's salty
I'd take the sweetness out of you
So it's better to pour out each nasty doubt
so you'll have a better view
These kind of cup tea's are old and sour
has no taste to even perk you up
Only damaging pours, that drips more and more
so why not just empty the cup
Then go put another pot on the stove
let it simmer the way you like
Put in how much cream, you want to use
and tell the other go take a hike
The unhealthy things you need to throw out
before they can pour more in-
For that bad taste, you need to waste
that is, to bring it to an end
If un-profitable leave it off your life's table
just say, it has been reserved ;
For you have a server, that has the best
and that is what you deserve
The cups that are filled with sadness and gloom
this is what they have for thee ;
But we have a Savior that always gives us joy
and that cup is for you and me
