Woe It's Me

My eyes are filled with water that trickles down my face.
I wonder what I could of done that brought me to this place.

I asked the Lord to use me, he showed me in a dream.
I attempt to bring it to life, exactly what I'd seen.

Why is it when I try to do, exactly what God told me to?
All of the negative forces that be, come together to try to defeat me.

They come up on all sides making me feel I'm all alone.
Trying to fulfill the vision a mission my father sent me on.

What happened to the joy that Jesus put in my heart?
I realized in that second the devil was doing his part.

The devil's main objectives are to destroy, steal and kill.
But keeping me from all harm, hurt, or danger, is my father's will.

So I'm leaning on Jesus and keeping the faith.
The vision will come to life if I just be patient and wait.

Wait on the Lord, for he will see me through.
If he gave me a vision, surely he'll show me what to do.

And who am I to have selfpity, when my vision is rejected or put on hold.
When Jesus, he was crucified, on his mission to save my soul.

Glory be to God, and the victory is mine.
The vision will be completed in God's season and time.
