Life has been hard,
Life has been tough,
At times I feel I've had enough,
I sigh, I cry, I weep alone,
Indeed! my heart has turned to stone.
Is there a world out there for me?
A place where I could just be free,
A haven where my thoughts unfold,
A cherished niche... so warm, not cold..
Mystic shadows on the walls
They cast a spell, they tell it all,
They beckon me , they twist and turn,
I stare so hard, my eyes do burn..
I look unto the sky so high,
I want to leap and want to fly,
Into that wonderland of cheer,
Where joy exixts without a tear.
