Sweet and so tender. Your longing and hope are...inspiring! In fact, how can your reader not think about his/her own heritage - and those waiting "on the other side?" Powerful, introspective stuff here. :-)

What a charming story! I was blessed to have a relationship with both of my grandmothers, but one of my grandfathers lived in other countries most of my life, and died when I was young. I often wish I could have known him better...
