Oaks of righteousness
Shall stand in the fierce wind.
Through His great faithfulness,
Abounding grace they’ll find.
They will grow tall and strong,
Like cedars of Lebanon.
At night they’ll have a song,
To cheer those that mourn
His word their nourishment,
His Spirit their comfort,
His love so permanent,
Fiery darts come to nought.
They are the trees of the Lord;
His treasured possession.
They are watered by the Lord,
In famine or recession.
They will always flourish;
Bearing abundant fruit.
They will never perish
But have life abundant.
