Upon the cross I focus
Its now empty limbs
And the unoccupied tomb
Both speak volumes
‘bout what my Savior did
He did what scripture had foretold
Did it for you and me
To offer us eternity
Eternity with Him
And with the Father who sent Him
And as I focus upon that cross
I see a face that should have been there
A face that looks like me
For it was I who sent a good man there
In the place where I should be
And when I see the Savior
On the eve of eternity
The Savior who set me free
I doubt I’ll stop shaking
When I think about what he did upon that tree
