GOD IS WHO HE IS; GREAT I AM.
God revealed His name to Moses in the burning bush before Moses was commissioned to deliver the children of Israel from Egypt’s bondage.
God told Moses to tell the children of Israel I AM has sent me to you. (Ex. 3:14)
Of all the names ascribed to God Almighty, the one He called Himself is I AM (WHO I AM). Nevertheless, we see God’s might in diverse ways and we ought to worship and praise Him using the various manifestations of His love, power and might.
By calling God who He is, we are able to magnify Him in His excellence and glory. I delight in calling these names in my worship and prayers and it opens up my heart to experience the beauty of His Majesty.
Our God is our Father, our Lord, our Strength, our Righteousness, our Shepherd, and our Provider;
He is our Light, our Guide, our Helper, our Teacher, our Comforter, and our Sanctifier, our Advocate, our counsellor.
He is our Peace, our Joy, ever present God.
He is our army General- our banner, our Shield, our buckler, and exceedingly great Reward. God is our protector, our Safety, our Secret place, our Refuge, our Hiding place and our Strong Tower.
He is our Courage, Boldness, and our Faith. He is our Hope and our Love, our All in All.
God is our Fighting Sword, the Sword of The Spirit, The Word that proceeds out of our mouth.
God is our Rock, our Foundation and our Covering, The Beginning and the Ending, our All in All, our sufficiency.
He is our Living Water, our purging and testing Fire. He is The Way, Truth and Life. He is our resurrection and our eternity.
He is our King and our coming King. Our God reigns FOREVER.
