My Daddy He's In Heaven
Well the doctor told us it won't be long as we stood around his bed
And as I held to his precious hand, my Daddy to Jesus fled
We know he loved us oh so much, but it was time to go
My Daddy he's in Heaven...my Daddy he's with God
My Daddy he's in heaven...my Daddy he's with God
When he saw those gates opened wide through them he must have run
He left us without a second glance to be with the one he loved
My Daddy he's in heaven...My Daddy he's with God
Daddy taught us about Jesus and the home that he's prepared
And through his songs he let us know how much he longed to be there
So when Jesus said to come he didn't hesitate
My Daddy he's in Heaven...My Daddy he's with God

Touching song. I'd love to hear the music! :-)
You wrote wonderful loving Lyrics to your father. Your piece is beautifully arranged, With each stanza ending with: “My Daddy he's in Heaven...My Daddy he's with God” As Amy said, I agree, “Touching.” I love your article.
