As Paul was sitting in jail once again
He wrote a letter to Timothy his friend
Don't forget the cloak, the books, the parchment he said
If I had not left when I did I would be dead
He charged Timothy to preach the word
For there will soon come a time when it is not heard
For they will have teachers with itching ears
Who will do nothing but feed upon their fears
Turning the truth into fairy fables
A Christian with hatred will be labled
But watch yourself in all things
And the truth of Christ will not sting
I have done my best
It is now time to rest
Grace, mercy and peace
My love to you will never cease

Vicki, this poem is another reminder that we are living in the end times. It also reminds us of Paul's commitment to Timothy, in teaching him truth. Welcome to Faith Writers!
