The love of an aunt,
God must have envisioned in mind...
I’ve been blessed with such a gift in my life,
Her love - patient and kind...
Her gentleness of heart,
Spirit so strong...
Such illustrated compassion,
As a child I felt I belonged...
The love of an aunt,
God allows through recollection of her smile…
Support given not through physical touch,
A result of distant miles…
Her special touch,
Sensitivity to love...
Inner strengths to endure,
God’s gift from above…
The love of an aunt,
I’ve been blessed in life to know…
Symbolic of the strength of a tree,
Yet, fragile as a rose...
Purity of heart – perseverance in prayer,
Radiate outward for all to see…
The clothes she wears – the color of her hair,
Simply compliment what God meant to be…
The love of an aunt,
Bride’s silhouette in becoming man’s wife…
Reminiscent of a flower’s presence,
Beauty surrendered to earth’s life…
The volume of love buried deep in her heart,
Far greater than the depth of a well…
God’s blessed me with such love in my life,
The Love of my “Aunt Belle”
(Dedicated In Love and Appreciation)
