And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word, by stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus.
And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness. And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common. And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all. Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold.
And when they prayed:
1. The place was shaken
2. They were all filled with the Holy Ghost
3. They spake the word of God with BOLDNESS
4. The multitude was of one heart & soul
5. Great grace was upon them all
6. No one lacked for anything
Godís Word is infallible! May we pray for a spirit of BOLDNESS to speak Godís Word! That we may become the witnesses of the resurrection of Christ we were intended to be!
"May we pray for a spirit of BOLDNESS to speak Godís Word! That we may become the witnesses of the resurrection of Christ we were intended to be!" AMEN! Where two or more agree... hallelujah! I know I don't even have to finish that thought for, in ONENESS, we know that He is in the midst of us and we shall have whatsoever we ask. Let us, therefore, in faith, call it done and begin to boldly, faithfully, joyfully walk in it! Look out world... a holy wildfire has broken out and it's begun with one faithful child of God praying that which the Lord led her to pray! Sincerely, Sister, I see mountains crumbling as you walk in their direction without you ever having to speak a word... they just know. They know because they know the Son of God, that you are His dwelling place, and that they MUST bow down in the holiness of His presence.
This is a wonderfully inspired writing...perhaps because it mainly consists of His inspired word! Nevertheless, your contribution has confirmed a song I was "given" this morning as I sat in my car.."Be bold be strong for the Lord your God is with you"..it comforted and encouraged me and I pray that your piece will do the same for those who read it - thank you.
Yes, my dear friend Jounda, let us be bold in the Word, and I have found that patience is something to swallow with it. I also have found that when someone is not changing from hurting (me) or another that boldness in my spirit as I give the matter to God. Keep writing! Thank you for your awesome sharing.
