Brilliant light
parted from velvet night
and the deep dark sea
from dry mountain land
moved by mighty hand
a place for roots and leaves to be
Fish and whales
with gills and tales
swimming in waters cold
the birds of the air
haven’t a single care
singing their songs so bold
Through the sparkling stream
and across its golden gleam
run and hide, scurry to find
with calm kind words
goats, sheep and cows in herds
each creature to its own kind
Tiny grinning faces
with gentle happy voices
playing in white fenced fields,
along foothills filled with flowers
hearts content for hours and hours
what joy creation’s work yields
