WE are surrounded by angels sent from heaven each day
They provide a protective shield to keep the demons away.
They are with us day and night, when we work or sleep,
Their prayers are scattered in the wind for us to catch and keep.
They are our mighty warriors, our comfort and our guide,
They whisper to us softly when our conscience is denied.
They have the power to stop us. From making a mistake,
But God granted us free will, it is not theirs to take.
We have to make decisions based on what we have learned
If we fall into disgrace it is not when their back is turned.
The sirens that we hear come from an angels tortured soul
He had to stand by helplessly and watch us lose control.
They can step in and fight our battles only when they are asked.
When we do not walk with God, they have an impossible task.
When the light of God shines brightly, our angels will be free
They can save us from any demon but they cannot save me from me.
