God takes the dough of the meek
and make out of it fine bread
Kneading and shaping, smoothing each crevice
with his hands as our bodies lay spread

He takes his time to prove it's worth
moving every lump there be
Making sure there's no rough edges
for any other eyes to see

Working on the dough to get it ready
sometimes at the break of day
And when noontime comes, his jobs not done
for there's more to clear away

Now the bread it must be seasoned
to have the right needed ingredients
So when it rise, it won't get inflated
but stay a child and be obedient

God takes foolish things to confound the wise
doing something beyond the mind
It's not always things that's great in size
but something he can use any time

It is said that, the proud God knows far off
but to the humble he gives more grace
So it's best to abide under his hands of mercy
and then we will see his face
