The sound an angle's wings make is like a whisper in the wind
They bear messages of truth and love for all of us who sin
God sends them to protect us from demons we don't see
And keep us from doing things in places we should not be
Not all the voices that we hear come to us from God
Some come from a darker place where demons nightly trod
There is a battle all around us that we cannot see or hear
The righteous ones defend us in truth an without fear
The holy and unholy each battle for our souls
To prepare us for our heavenly home or a bed of red hot coals
When you hear the whisper in the wind angels might be ready to attack
The demons in your life and bring your lost soul back
When you hear the angels' wings whisper in the wind
Turn around and go the other way you are heading into sin
Go home, get your Bible out, and talk to God once more
And remember all around you angels fight a righteous war
