With broad wings of faith,
Mounted on a steed of charity -
As swiftly as the Sun -
Light to souls in direst need.
Neither just nor too accustom'd
To wrong - expectant and serene,
Reaping plentiful harvest
Amid the cruellest thorns.
Do not be afraid - but
Above all means, be careful -
That speech is unimpaired
And words taught seamlessly.
While engaging hope, foes
Are kept at bay; trust,
Long thought as passivity,
Steers ahead.
