O stars - where are you in the plenitude
Of the night, or in the immensity
Of the ocean blue - I seek you for truth
And wisdom divine, I seek you for song
Never sung, but in its stillness its words
Are etched in my heart. O wisdom divine,
Turn to me with your fullness of knowledge.
Turn to me with the joy of innocence,
The springtime of youth and the care of age.
O stars in the deep darkness of the night -
Stars that glitter in the depth of my mind,
That hold my peace and sentiment of joy -
Stars that guide my path by their twinkling light,
Or that console me in the darkest night.

Your sonnet seeks wisdom. True wisdom comes from God; He gave the stars to illumine the night and to give you a message as you contemplate them. Interesting poem.
