Stretch your budding limbs
toward the light
of our creator
Praying for His nourishment
and restoration of your soul
His rain of blessings
will quench your desires
Flourishing the roots
hidden deep within your heart
For His love has no boundaries
reaching far beyond
our capacity to imagine
the width
the depth
the height
of His love and longing
for you
and for me
As we shiver
in the breeze
or falter
in a storm
Our Lord is there
hidden within
the very core
of our being
stabilizing our
fragile foliage
tending to
His garden
