I was brought up in a Christian home, lived a sheltered life, and was hidden from the world. I accepted God as my Lord and Saviour when I was 13 at the end of a sermon by Billy Graham.
This was my testimony, up until 2 years ago.
I went to uni to study a degree in Performance theatre; this was the first time I was away from home.
Uni made me open my eyes to what is going on in the world, drugs, sex, drink, I was shocked, it shows me that Having God in your life brings you a buzz that you don’t need to get from drugs etc.
In the summer of 2004, I decided to make a message board; I called this 'Worldwide Christians Online'. It was slow to take off, but by January 05 we had our first hundred members, non Christians were coming and seeking God, it was great!
Members started to support us, by donating towards the site, this ment we could launch an online radio show. In May 05 we launched our Ministry, Christian Worldwide Ministry (CWM). God has continued to bless us, by providing us with outreach projects and more websites that have also taken off. God has promised us an event, an event which will tour the world bringing many non Christians to Christ. At present we don’t have the funds to do this, but we have faith that God will provide.
All thought it’s been great to receive comments from non Christians that they like what we are doing, it’s even better when my non Christian friends at uni want to help out too!
We currently have members from all around the world; God has helped us to set up prayer teams, support workers, country reps and more. We have people in prisons outreaching to the unbeliever, God is using us. I’m only 20, and to think what God has accomplished in 1 year, now multiply that by however long God wants me alive!
Yes there maybe a lot of hate in the world, however there is a lot of Good! I believe there is a revival happening especially in the UK.
