Do you ever wonder how postcards were created and how they are made I wonder how someone got the idea to put animals, flowers, kids, and beautiful pictures on the front of them.
People who travel send postcards to family and friends to tell them they are having a great time or to let them know they are all right.
For the people who save them I wonder if they ever get a good value on them or they just keep them for sentimental reasons. I know some people just read them and throw them away.
I am afraid to fly and the only way to visit some of the places I would like to go is to find a postcard and try to picture myself there or to fantise myself standing on the corner or at the beach in the sun looking at the beautiful scenery.
Postcards also make good bookmarkers and every time you see the postcard it takes you back to where you had vacation or where you just like to visit when traveling and wanting to go back to that area. On a gloomy day when your down and out you can think about the fun times you had on vacation just by looking at the postcard and you feel all warm all over and a smile on your face will chase the blues away.
I hope this article will change the way people look at postcards and appreciate the people who make them available for us and to use them to send short messages to friends and family.
