“Faith, God’s Natural Herb for Healing”

“Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for
the food which endures to eternal life, which the
Son of man will give you” (John 6:27).
Life throws you many roadblocks as you journey from day to day. Sometimes the challenges are easy, and you hurdle over them with minor scrapes and bruises. But other times the challenges seem too great for you to face or attempt to jump over. The roadblocks have turned into high mountains and defeat is the only thing in front of you. Despite your valiant and continued efforts, the struggle continues on. With desperation, you reach out to your doctors, your family, your friends, your church group and even your priests/pastors for help. But again no one’s support, advice and prayers, could bring you over that mountain. No one or thing could comfort you from the intense pain of knowing that your life as it was has been destroyed. You blame God for failing you for he had promised to protect you from harm and be by your side if you were ever in tearful pain.
If any of this hits home to you, then I must say to you, never have you been more wrong!
Yes, you tried everything, and asked everyone for help, but you alone never knocked on God’s door. You said you are faithful and believe in Him, yet you never humbled yourself completely and said to God, “Lord, please carry my cross for me. I’ve become too tired and can not take one more step with this heavy cross burning into my shoulder.” After all, didn’t Jesus permit us this right when he said to the crowd (you), “Come to me all of you who are tired from carrying heavy loads and I will give you rest” (Mathew 11:28). You must have strong faith in he who “…himself took our sickness and carried away our disease,” (Mathew 8:1), no matter if the disease is of mental, physical, or spiritual origin.
You must have faith in God’s powers! For as biblical history records, when faithful sinners turned to Jesus for help he said, “…Your faith (alone) has healed you” (Luke 18:42). Instantly they were healed. This promise Jesus made with them, he too makes it with you.
