As you grow and heal with each new day
I will be praying for your feet to remain
That your heart will have courage to stand and defeat
the lies of the enemy that has stolen your beat.
Step forward into dreams that are the desires of your heart
Know that God will fix every broken, shattered part
He's faithful to love and comfort and heal
His arms are always waiting for you to come near
So enter His rest and release all your tears
and as you do so you will be confronting your fears.
The fears of the past, present and future
will all be gone like a dissolving suture
God will cleanse and refill you with His all encasing love
You will wear Him as a snug fitting glove
He knows the fears within and without
But of what He has for your life, He never had a doubt.
He knew all along the people we'd be.
He knows how to create all that He designed us to see
So know that He is faithful, all-knowing and true
And will never leave, abandon, forsake or abuse you.
His arms enclose you close to His heart,
He says you are His and you and He will never part.
I am here too as your faithful true friend
I am through this with you until the very end.
I love you so dearly, as your heart still beats with mine
I will give you the space and will grant you the time
To know what you feel and work out your doubts
But I pray also that you never close me out.
Let me be your friend in all of this time
That is the only request that I have in my mind.
I will uplift you before our gracious Father
And request that He helps you to venture out farther.
For you to step into dreams you still have,
As well as to know there's more journey to the Path.
His work is not done with you or your life
Your time will be done with struggling and strife.
Peace is your portion and Joy is your cup.
Hope is your telescope to keep soaring on up.
Most of all Love, will be the victor's reward,
No matter what we have done, it's one we never earned.
So grasp onto that Love He's bestowed upon you
Let it grow inside of you, to be the man you've never known.
