I was sharing with someone this week about horses when they are racing and how the race can become so close that one will have to stretch His neck a little further in order to win. This is where, in America we often hear how the horse "won by a nose".
It doesn't matter how close the race was or that the enemy was not blown away. Our bible tells us that the race is not given to the swift or to the strong but to the one that endures to the end.
My brothers and sisters - it is not how you start or what happens in between - its how you finish!
Stretch your faith towards the finish line. Knowing that He who wins even if it is only by a nose - will still carry home the prize. Selah.

This reminds me of what Holy Spirit told me one time, He said, "Lengthen your stride." Near the finish line, a horse lengthens his stride and stretches, even to win 'by a nose.' Good word.
