I imagined I was sitting in God's garden of love, full of such wonderful
things, and deciding which things I would pick for my basket, my gift
for you today that I would bring.
There were so many lovely things, it was hard to decide on just a few, for I wanted to bring everything in the garden, and give it all to you.
This wasn't possible, it would never fit, the basket would overflow, but then I knew it was ok for I could come back every day, and pick some more from all that God had sown.
So today I picked a lot of love and lined my basket with it, for it smells so sweet, and tasting it would be a wonderful thing, sharing it would be such a treat.
Then into the basket went many berries of laughter, for these would spice up our life, and plump leaves of kindness and forgiveness went there too, to soothe away any pain or strife.
Scattered among all of these I put tiny flowers of hugs and kisses, for there never can be enough of these, and without them, something would be missing.
I piled in kindness and plenty of joy, and happiness all around the edges, till my basket was full of beauty and plenty, and ready to present to you.
Just as I was leaving the lovely garden, grace fell from the sky like dew, and covered all the gifts I had picked, to make them even more special for you.
Each morning I come to this garden God gave me, to pick from the plants grown with love, and the more I pick, the more grow in their place, for this garden is sown from above.
It is with such joy that I bring you my gifts, my basket of love I have picked just for you, and I know there is nothing in my life that makes me happier than to give you my love so true.
