If anyone looked at my doctrine or teachings and said that I was a heretic or a false teacher, I would shiver where I stood. I would fear that I dishonored God and would rip off my clothes from off of my back and cry to the Lord for mercy and then run back to the drawing board after repenting to see where I went wrong.
If anyone spoke about me on their web-site or spoke about me on their radio show and spoke about how I was misleading people into the pits of Hell, I would run into the church and cry for the elders and pastor to pray over me.
This being the case for myself, I find it scary that ministries and teachers that are under attack for heresy would just shrug it off as it was the sticks and stones concept.
2 Peter 2:1
But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them—bringing swift destruction on themselves
Destruction does not sound like the sticks and stones concept. It sounds like they will be hit with more than bad names. It sounds like they will go to Hell to me. How can these men and women sleep at night with just the possibility of destruction hanging over the heads?
Unless, could it be, these men are the real McCoys and they truly have an inside word from God and the rest of us are not in sync with the hidden secrets of the mysteries of the Holy Scriptures. Is it possible that these men and women are just as they say they are, prophets, apostles and the true friends of God based on their riches and wealth, while the rest of us walk around spiritually and financially poor? Is it possible that the rest of us are wasting our time praying, worshipping, tithing and serving the Lord, because we have been deceived into believing the Christian fundamentals which is out of line with today’s Name It and Claim It, Salvation by Works, He Can be my Savior but not my Lord, Pray in the Spirit but Walk in the Flesh type of gospel.
