Have you ever sat down and looked over your life?
Sometimes it cuts like a sharp knife,
Of course you’ve been forgiven of all those things,
As a Christian what a testimony it brings,
Are you ashamed to admit it out loud?
Your thoughts are you worried about the Sunday crowd,
Oh how sad,
All those blessings you could have had,
Somebody could be blessed through you,
Your holding back, you’re being untrue,
Share what God has brought you through.
It’s so amazing what God can do,
I tell everything to my friends,
The ones that don’t hear, I will tell it again,
God knows every move we make,
Every breath we take, and every prayer we fake,
How much more of this will he take,
Then you wonder if God watches over you,
What if God would get in your head?
Repeat all the things you were thinking,
Would you be ashamed?
Are would you say it was Satan to blame.
There are so many things I could tell,
God gave me a chance I don’t have to go to Hell.
I could have been dead and gone,
He encouraged me, to carry on,
I admit from time to time I get weak,
Can’t get any sleep,
I have someone to call on now,
He always makes a way somehow,
I know no one knows about backsliding,
That’s one thing I can’t keep from hiding,
My life was two times in a mess
You can sit down on your testimony if you want to,
I am proud to tell,
What God has brought me through?
