As I sit here in my room,
I start to wonder where will I go next,
The days are not so bad,
It's just the things that are going on,
Sometimes make me really mad.
I try to live quiet and I don't bother a soul,
But I need patience in order to unfold,
I use to think that when I grew up,
Life would be so sweet,
What a blast I have found,
Everything seems to pull me down,
I wish sometimes I could just fly away,
Maybe when I came back,
I could for once enjoy a brighter day.
My patience is so weak I just don't know,
You tell your family your likes and dislikes,
Nobody seems to pay any attention to you,
Everybody wants to do what they want to do,
Disrespect,and so much more,
I hope things get better sooner are later,
I have been praying for patience for a while,
But my test is just to wait,
I try to hold out the way I am suppose to,
It gets hard from time to time,
Sometimes I feel as if I were loosing my mind,
I know my Lord is watching over me,
He knows exactly where he needs me to be,
I will grow stronger physically, mentally and spiritually in due time,
This I know for sure, patience is what I need,
Right now right away,
I know I have to continue and pray,
My Bible tells me this is the only way.
As I wait in prayer, may my patince come soon,
Like a spring flower,
I want to be in bloom,
Right now patience is what I need,
It is the only thing that will cause me relief.
