1. Our culture has trained women to place themselves in a paradoxical position. A lot of ladies feel that the skimpy clothing gives them power over men. You might get some guys to drool over you, but those guys are the ones who will just cheat on you with a girl they find that's hotter. In their attempt for "power" many women today are just going back to being "sexual objects" to men, the very thing they've been fighting for Lord knows how long. Want to be irresistible to men? Be modest and beautiful, and have integrity. The women I've most desired and respected in my life have not been the ones who reduce themselves to eye candy.
2. An offshoot of number 1. Women need to stop trying to be the "cool girlfriend" or the "awesome wife" by not caring if their man buys porn. It blows my mind every time a couple comes through my line at work and they guy has a Maxim or Playboy or whatever. What he's basically saying is "You're good, but you're not good enough. I need more than just you." How romantic. What every woman wants in a guy.
3. I'm tired of ignorant critics of the Bible saying how Paul hated women and how the New Testament was "doctored" to suppress women in the church. If this is true, then they forgot to change the fact that WOMEN were the first people to see Jesus, and that the men didn't believe them. In fact, women's testimonies weren't even considered as evidence in a court of law at the time so why would you place the witness of something out of the ordinary (say, a resurrection?) on the shoulders of women? The fact that women were the first to see Jesus is a great honor to them, something that could never be believably fabricated.
4. Ladies, be very careful about how you dress. Be wary of spaghetti straps and short shorts. You have no idea what it's like for us guys. And do not be offended if a guy ever calls you out on this. "...'It is inevitable that stumbling blocks come, but woe to him through whom they come!'" -Luke 17:1 (NASB)
