The angels tumbled from their heavenly home
to rejoice in the Savior's birth.
They shouted, "Alleluia to God" for the shepherds
as they announced His arrival on earth.
"Why are you standing there gaping at us?"
An angel asked of the men.
"Run! See what good thing God has done
in the city of Bethlehem."
And so they ran and didn't stop
until Bethlehem came into sight.
They found the stable and peeked inside;
then bowed to worship their King that night.
This is what Christmas means to me;
this season of peace and joy.
A time to reflect on the great gift of God
and to bow and worship the infant Boy.
