For years my mommy has wanted me.
But she had fear, fear of the delivery.
God knew how much she wanted another baby.
So even though she was afraid to ask,
he sent her me.
And then God sent my mommy to you,
for her care and the fearful delivery too.
Thank you for coming so quickly when she called you,
and the kind words you spoke to get her through.
When it took some time because her back was sway,
thank you for the long hug you gave her that day.
My birth was a pleasureable memory that you made.
Maybe this poem will help another expecting mommy who might be afraid.
Thanks to you my mommy has a lot to be greatful for when she prays...
to bless the doctor who took her fear away.
Love the little one God blessed my mommy with on Mother’s Day.
Dedicated to Dr. Renee Carisio Warrenton, Va.
